P.A.L.'s Homemade Quilt Raffle is going on now! P.A.L. supporter Marcella Thornburgh crafted and donated a beautiful king-size quilt for a fund-raiser. The raffle drawing is set to take place on November 18th at 10:00 A.M. at the Lake County Star office in Baldwin. If you would like to raise money to help the unfortunate homeless pets of Lake County, contact Sally at 231-745-7081 for some raffle tickets to sell. Your help would be greatly appreciated! There is also another P.A.L.-related raffle being held on September 3rd at 10:00 A.M. at the Courthouse. Jim from the Lake County Maintenance Dept. made a beautiful pine coffee table to be raffled to help raise money for the proposed addition to the Animal Control department.
