The Lake County Pet Adoption League (P.A.L.) is made up of concerned citizens whose main goals are to help find homes for the homeless animals at the local dog pound, to promote the spaying and neutering of companion animals and the furthering of humane education especially in the area of proper pet care. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
P.A.L. works closely with our county Animal Control office in Baldwin, MI. As Lake County is one of the poorest in Michigan, the budget for the dog pound is minimal, and P.A.L. tries to help out wherever we can.
Through these pages we hope to promote adoptions of our shelter animals, as well as reuniting lost pets with their owners. If you are interested in adoption one of the pets listed on these pages, please take a moment to fill out our on-line application!
You can see some of our happy ending, as well as keep track of what P.A.L. has got cooking in our calendar. If you are interested in helping out or donating, please check out our Wish List page.
We would love it if you would stop in and sign our guestbook. Please tell us if there are ways to improve this site.
Remember- the key to stopping pet overpopulation is to have your pet spayed or neutered! |
